Book of Shadows

Your book of shadows is a witches personal journal full of spellwork, magickal information, and correspondences. It should be unique to the witch and only limited by ones creativity and knowledge.

The “Book” can be of any design. From a fancy leather bound journal to a 3 ring binder or even some witches have an online book of shadows and I’ve even seen some use discord! There is no right or wrong way as its personal to you.

My book of shadows is a leather bound binder. You can find them on amazon. It looks beautiful and fancy while still being simple to use and add/remove or move around pages. I used mostly printed out pages. You can find a ton on etsy and I made some myself. I’m not very artistic and am a perfectionist and it drove me crazy whenn looking so messy. Typical virgo energy!

What is inside a book of shadows?

Really it could be anything you desire! I add mostly information on spells, correspondences, sabbats, moon phases, Goddesses, divination, etc…

It can also be a journal to keep track of spells you have done.
